The basis for the discussions on this file was the Bulgarian Presidency compromise text on Articles 1 to 27 of the proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on European business statistics amending Regulation (EC) No 184/2005 and repealing 10 legal acts in the field of business statistics (FRIBS).
Another regulation in the field of statistics successfully goes through trilogue
The adoption of this regulation was expected as early as 2017 by the Member States and Eurostat in light of the upcoming agricultural census. The aim of the regulation is to ensure a common methodology and scope of the statistical surveys in the field of agriculture in the EU.

The competition for Bulgaria took place in two stages, and the students were distributed into two categories - Category A: students from X - XII grade and Category B: students from VIII - IX grade. In the first stage, the students had to work on a test, and in the second, each team had to analyse statistical data in the form of a presentation.
