Project “Modernisation actions for compiling PRODCOM statistics”

The National Statistical Institute has started a project Modernisation actions for compiling PRODCOM statistics in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 06124.2016.001-2016.395.

The main project aim is preparation of the implementation of new PRODCOM (statistics on production of industrial goods) data requirements in the Frame Regulation for Integrated Business Statistics (FRIBS), namely for collection, processing and transmission to Eurostat of data on the Production manufactured on sub-contracting basis.

Grant Agreement ‘Statistics on the Information Society 2017’

The National Statistical Institute has started a project ‘Statistics on the Information Society 2017’ in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 06163.2016.003-2016.439. The project includes conducting of two separate surveys - ‘Survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals’ and ‘Survey on ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises’.

NSI – host of a training of young statisticians from the Republic of Azerbaijan

The National Statistical Institute will host a training of 12 young statisticians from the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized jointly with the Centre for Statistical Studies at the University of National and World Economy – Sofia. The training will be implemented in the framework of ongoing Agreement for bilateral cooperation in the field of statistics between the National Statistical Institute of the Republic of Bulgaria and the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

BNSI trains statisticians from Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of statistics on disabled persons under twinning project

The National Statistical Institute hosts the fourth study visit of experts from the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the twinning project AZ/14/ENP/ST/32 “Support to the State Statistical Committee in Harmonisation of the National Statistics System of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with EU standards”. The training is part of Component 4 on the project “Statistics on disabled and invalid persons” and its duration is five days (17 - 21 October 2016). The topic of the mission is “European Health and Social Integration Survey”.

In August 2016 the National Statistical Institute has started a project ‘Setting up production processes for new indices of services production (ISP) - implementation of Short-term Statistics (STS)’ according to a Grant agreement 06131.2016.001-2016.218 of the European Commission.
 
The activities foreseen to be executed in order the final goals of the project to be achieved are as follows:

    The National Statistical Institute hosts the third study visit in the framework of the twinning project AZ/14/ENP/ST/32 “Support to the State Statistical Committee in Harmonisation of the National Statistical System of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with EU standards”. The training is in the field of tourism statistics and will last 5 days (4-8 July 2016). The topic of the mission is ‘Best international practices and improvement of Tourism statistics’.
