Grant Agreement ‘Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies 2019, Households’

The National Statistical Institute has started work on a project ‘Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies 2019, Households’ according to a Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 831507-2018-BG-ICT HH IND.

The general objective of the project is to collect reliable and internationally comparable information on the availability and usage of information and communication technologies in households and by individuals in 2019. In the framework of the project, a statistical survey covering the following topics will be conducted:

Project ‘Setting up production processes for new indices of services production and trade and quality improvement of STS’

In December 2018, the National Statistical Institute has started work on the project ‘Setting up production processes for new indices of services production and trade and quality improvement of STS’ according to a Grant Agreement No.828974-2018-BG-2791-STS of the European Commission.

Within of the NSI project will participate in the following objectives: 

Area 1. Setting up the production and dissemination process for volume of wholesale trade and volume of trade and repair of motor vehicles at NACE Rev. 2 group level;

Project 'Real Estate Indicators'

In October 2018, National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria launches a project ‘Real Estate Indicators’ under European Commission Subsidy Agreement Number 801939-2017/BG/REI.

Within the project, NSI will participate in the following objective ‘Development of the sub-national dimension of the Housing Price Index’.

The general objective of the project is incorporating methodological improvements; improving data collection and production processes and introducing new data sources in area of real estate indicators.

Workshop on project for youth migration in Danube region (YOUMIG)

A workshop within the project ‘Improving institutional capacities and fostering cooperation to tackle the impacts of transnational youth migration’ (YOUMIG), which is realized by the Danube Transnational Programme (Interreg - Danube Transnational Programme - ERDF) took place on 30.04.2018 at the National Statistical Institute.

Experts from Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, Employment Agency and Institute for Population and Human Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Science participated.

The NSI presented the project ‘Bringing NSI's information assets in line with the requirements of Eurostat and migration to HPC’

On February 6, at a press conference at the National Statistical Institute (NSI), the results of the project ‘Bringing NSI Information Assets in Accordance with Eurostat Requirements and Migration to HPC’, financed under the Operational Program ‘Good Governance’ were presented.

The press conference was attended by Mr. Sergei Tsvetarsky - President of the NSI, Ms. Diana Yancheva - Deputy President of the NSI, Mr. Yuri Stamenov - Director of Information Systems and Infrastructure Directorate and project manager, as well as team members.

Project “Improvement of the use of administrative sources (ESS.VIP ADMIN WP6 pilot studies and applications)”

The National Statistical Institute has started working on a project “Improvement of the use of administrative sources (ESS.VIP ADMIN WP6 pilot studies and applications)” in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 07112.2017.007-2017.441.

The main objective of the project is to develop standardised system for referring to geographical coordinates of statistical data from different domains and administrative sources by means of addresses of real estate and based on national registers.
