Construction Production Indices in August 2009
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute, the construction production fell by 11.9% in August 2009 compared to the previous month. A decrease of 11.8% was registered in the production of building construction, as well in the civil engineering production - by 12.1%.
Industrial Production and Industrial Turnover Indexes, August 2009
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index decreased by 15.9% in August 2009 as compared to August 2008.As compared to the previous month, the Industrial Production Index decreased by 7.8%.

Producer Price Indexes in Industry, August 2009
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in August 2009 decreased by 0.3% compared to the previous month, compared to the same month of 2008 domestic prices fell by 9.8%. Total Producer Price Index in Industry in August 2009 increased by 0.2% compared to July 2009, compared to the same month of the previous year the prices decreased by 10.8%.
Business Conjuncture, September 2009
In September 2009 the total business climate indicator decreases by 0.4 percentage points in comparison with the previous month and records its lowest level (8.6 percentage points) since the beginning of the negative development of the business conjuncture in the country in October 2008.
Arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria and trips of Bulgarian residents travelling abroad in August 2009
In August 2009, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 434.6 thousand or 10.1% less than the number of trips in the same month of 2008.
The number of the trips of Bulgarian residents in abroad was 547.1 thousand in August 2009, which was 7.7% less than the number of the trips in August 2008.
