Construction Production Indices in August 2020
According to the preliminary data, in August 2020 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 1.0% below the level of the previous month. In August 2020 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 4.9% in comparison with the same month of 2019.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in August 2020
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in August 2020 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 2.6% compared to the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in August 2020
According to the preliminary data in August 2020 the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.7% as compared to July 2020. In August 2020 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index fell by 5.7% in comparison with the same month of 2019.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, July 2020
In July 2020 compared to June 2020 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 13.7%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 20.0%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 42.7%, transport diesel - by 31.2%, and electricity - by 6.3%. No change for the production of natural gas.
In July 2020 compared to June 2020 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 12.6%, transport diesel - by 6.2%, and electricity - by 10.6%. A decrease is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 9.5%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 4.9%, and natural gas - by 2.3%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, August 2020
Total Producer Price Index in August 2020 fell by 0.7% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2019 the prices declined by 3.1%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in August 2020 decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2019 the domestic prices fell by 1.7%.

In August 2020, during the continuing epidemic situation in the country, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 470.9 thousand, or by 37.7% under the registered in August 2019.
In August 2020, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 747.1 thousand or by 67.9% less in comparison with August 2019.
