Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, July 2019
In July 2019 compared to June 2019 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 34.9%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 20.0%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.9% and electricity - by 16.6%. During the same period, a decrease is reported for the production of transport diesel - by 4.3%. No change for the production of natural gas.
In July 2019 compared to June 2019 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 34.1%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 18.2%, transport diesel - by 19.3%, natural gas - by 4.0% and electricity - by 6.2%. A decrease is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 6.3%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, August 2019
Total Producer Price Index in August 2019 increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2018 the prices rose by 3.5%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in August 2019 rose by 0.7% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2018 the domestic prices grew by 4.5%.
Business Conjuncture, September 2019
In September 2019, the total business climate indicator preserves its level from the previous month. An improvement of the indicator is observed in construction, retail trade and service sector, as only in industry a reduction is reported.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in August 2019
In August 2019, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 755.4 thousand or by 2.5% above the registered in August 2018. The trips with holiday and recreation purposes in August 2019 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 45.7%, followed by those with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) - 40.3%, and with professional purpose - 14.0%.
In August 2019, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 2 325.2 thousand or by 3.8% more in comparison with August 2018. In August 2019, the predominant share of the visits with holiday and recreation purpose was 56.8%, followed by trips with other purposes - 35.8%, and with professional purpose - 7.4%.
The European System of Integrated Social Protection Statistics (ESSPROS), 2017
In 2017, Bulgaria spent 17 195.7 million BGN for social protection. Тo finance social protection in the country, 7 880.3 million BGN were allocated from the state budget while the receipts of social protection contributions amounted to 10 531.4 million BGN.
Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Second Quarter of 2019
Preliminary data of the NSI for the second quarter of 2019 indicate that the total hourly labour cost rose by 11.0% compared to the second quarter of 2018.

The consumer price index in August 2019 compared to July 2019 was 100.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.1%.
Foreign Trade of Bulgaria in 2018 - Final Data
In 2018 the goods exported from Bulgaria amounted to 56 030.4 Million BGN or 2.6% more than in 2017. The imported goods in 2018 were for 62 875.6 Million BGN (at CIF prices) which is 6.1% more than the previous year.
Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - June 2019 (preliminary data)
In the period January - June 2019 the Bulgarian exports to the EU grew by 5.1% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to 19 029.6 Million BGN while the imports from the EU increased by 1.6% and reached 20 102.0 Million BGN.
In June 2019 the exports to the EU decreased by 3.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 3 085.8 Million BGN while the imports dropped by 4.8% and added up to 3 272.5 Million BGN.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in the Period January - July 2019 (preliminary data)
In the period January - July 2019 the exports of goods from Bulgaria to third countries increased by 3.0% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to 10 510.3 Million BGN while the imports of goods from third countries decreased by 2.6% and added up to 12 265.3 Million BGN.
In the period January - July 2019 the total value of all exported goods to third countries and EU amounted to 33 130.4 Million BGN, which is 4.2% more than the same period of 2018, while the total value of all imported goods from third countries and EU added up to 36 100.6 Million BGN and grew by 0.4%.
