The main project aim is preparation of the implementation of new PRODCOM (statistics on production of industrial goods) data requirements in the Frame Regulation for Integrated Business Statistics (FRIBS), namely for collection, processing and transmission to Eurostat of data on the Production manufactured on sub-contracting basis.
In order to be achieved this aim an ad-hoc survey is going to be prepared and carried out with the purpose of identifying principals. After the data processing, analysis, evaluation and comparison with the available Prodcom information the methodological guidelines for respondents will be amended, as well as the questionnaire design and the data preparation program for transmission to Eurostat will be changed.
As a result availability of information on the Production on sub-contracting basis as a component of Sold Production at the level of the European Union will be ensured and full consistency and comparability of Sold Production data with other EU member states data will be achieved.
The achievement of the project purposes will contribute to be achieved the general aim of the changes in the FRIBS, namely improvement of the quality and comparability of the member states Prodcom data along with the data quality enhancement at the level of the European Union.
The project duration is fifteen months and will be completed in April 2018.
