During the period 15 - 17 April 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland, will be held a workshop, dedicated to the modernisation of statistical production. The workshop is intended for top managers involved in the modernisation of the activity of statistical organisations through the respective coordination, planning and management. At the event the National Statistical Institute will be represented by the Deputy President, Ms. Diana Yancheva.
The organiser of the event is the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) which is included in the framework of the activity of the High-Level Group for the Modernisation of Statistical Production and Services, with special focus on issues currently discussed by the Committee for the Modernisation of Statistical Production and Methods (information technology, methodology and enterprise architecture).
The following strategic issues will be discussed during the workshop:
- Changes in the business and IT technologies area that will impact statistical production;
- Enterprise architecture and its role in the modernisation of statistical production;
- Innovation in methods and technologies leading to opportunities for modernisation.
