In December 2011 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents in abroad was 258.9 thousand or by 1.9% more compared to December 2010.
In December 2011 the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 392.3 thousand which was by 4.8% more than in the same month of 2010.
The market price index of the dwellings for the fourth quarter of 2011 compared to the third quarter of 2011 was 98.5%, i.e. the average decrease of the market prices of the dwellings was 1.5%.
The consumer price index (CPI) in December 2011 compared to November 2011 was 100.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.1%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in December 2011 compared to November 2011 was 100.3%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.3%.
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in November 2011 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 0.4% below the level of the previous month.
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index seasonally adjusted decreased by 0.4% in November 2011 as compared to October 2011. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 0.6% as compared to the same month of 2010.
In the period January - November 2011 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 26.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and exceeded 13.5 billion levs while the imports increased by 21.8% and amounted to 17.1 billion levs
In the period January - November 2011 the total value of the exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 36.2 billion levs and compared to the corresponding period of 2010 the exports increased by 30.6% while the total value of all imported goods was 41.0 billion levs and increased by 20.6%.
In the period January - October 2011 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 33.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 20.4 billion levs while the imports increased by 21.6% and amounted to 21.4 billion levs.
In October 2011 the exports to the EU increased by 28.0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and exceeded 2.2 billion levs while the imports increased by 29.9% and exceeded 2.6 billion levs.
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in November 2011 increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2010 the domestic prices grew by 5.9%. Total Producer Price Index increased by 1.0% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2010 the prices went up by 6.8%.
