The National Statistical Institute has started work on the ‘Statistics on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) 2021 and 2022’ project in accordance with Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 2021.0038. In the framework of the project, four separate statistical surveys will be conducted:
- Data collection on ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises 2021;
- Data collection on ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises 2022;
- Data collection on the use of ICT in households and by individuals 2021;
- Data collection on the use of ICT in households and by individuals 2022.
The general objective of the project is to collect reliable and internationally comparable data on the development and usage of information and communication technologies among the population and the businesses by several indicators - internet access, usage of e-commerce, e-government, internet security, etc.
The project duration is 25 months and it will be completed in 2023.
