Industrial Production Indices in April 2012
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index seasonally adjusted increased by 1.5% in April 2012 as compared to March 2012. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 0.3% as compared to the same month of 2011.
Gross Domestic Product for the First Quarter of 2012
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the first quarter of 2012 is 0.5% compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
In-patient, Out-patient and Other Health Care Establishments as of 31.12.2011
At the end of 2011 health network in the country covers 344 establishments for hospital aid with 47 391 beds in them. The number of hospitals was 315 with 44 811 beds in them. The number of out-patient health establishments was 1 770 with 924 beds and other health establishments were 150 with 4 546 beds.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, April 2012
Production of liquefied petroleum gases in April 2012 compared to March 2012 increases by 22.2%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 13.3% and transport diesel - by 16.4%. Decrease is reported for the production of solid fuels by 32.5% and electricity - by 18.3%.
Deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases in April 2012 compared to March 2012 increased by 40.9% and transport diesel - by 11.7%. A decrease was reported for the deliveries of solid fuels by 32.6%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 25.0%, natural gas - by 32.4% and electricity - by 21.5%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, April 2012
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in April 2012 increased by 1.1% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2011 the domestic prices grew by 5.0%. Total Producer Price Index rose by 1.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2011 the prices went up by 3.7%.
Crimes Concluded with Penalty Inflicted and Persons Convicted in Second Semester of 2011 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute for the second semester of 2011, the trials ended with inflicted penalty cover 15 620 committed crimes.
The number of persons convicted with penalties come into force amounted to 17 634, while 1 200 of them were Juveniles aged 14-17 years.
Business Conjuncture, May 2012
In May 2012 the total business climate indicator increases by 2.8 percentage points in comparison with the previous month which is due to the improved business climate in construction, retail trade and service sector.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in April 2012
In April 2012 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 332.0 thousand or by 7.8% more than in March and by 3.8% below the registered in April 2011.
Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport in the First Quarter of 2012
According to preliminary data during the first quarter of 2012 in comparison with the same period of 2011 a decline both in the transported goods and in the transport performance was observed. Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the transported passengers rose by 386.2 thousand or by 0.2%. At the same time the transport performance fell by 1.0% which was mainly due to the land and urban electrical transport.
Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditures of the Population in the First Quarter of 2012
According to preliminarily data of the National Statistical Institute in the first quarter of 2012, 627.4 thousand Bulgarian residents realized tourist trips, 89.0% of them were travelled in the country and 11.0% - abroad.
