Gross Domestic Product for the First Quarter of 2014 (preliminary data)
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the first quarter of 2014 is 1.2% compared with the same quarter of 2013.
Crimes Concluded with Penalty Inflicted and Persons Convicted in Second Semester of 2013 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute for the second semester of 2013, the trials ended with inflicted penalty covered 13 274 committed crimes.
The number of accused persons in second half of 2013 was 16 974.
The number of persons convicted with penalties came into force amounted to 14 570, while 777 of them were Juveniles aged 14 - 17 years, that presents 5.3% of the total number of convicted persons.
In-patient, Out-patient and Other Health Care Establishments as of 31.12.2013 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the NSI the number of health establishments for hospital aid as of 31.12.2013 was 342 with 49 522 beds. 316 of them were hospitals with 46 804 beds. The number of out-patient health establishments was 1 885 with 980 beds and other health establishments were 145 - 3 132 beds in them.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, March 2014
In March 2014 compared to February 2014 an increase of the production of natural gas by 11.1% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of solid fuels - by 23.6%, and electricity - by 6.4% is reported. Significant drop is observed in the production of petroleum products, which is due to planned repair of production capacities done in March 2014, as unleaded motor gasoline decreases by 97.5% and transport diesel - by 88.6%. No production of liquefied petroleum gases is reported.
In March 2014 compared to February 2014 an increase of the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases by 36.4% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of solid fuels - by 23.3%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 9.4%, transport diesel - by 14.9%, natural gas - by 5.4%, and electricity - by 2.9% is reported.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, April 2014
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in April 2014 declined by 0.2% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the domestic prices fell by 0.9%. Total Producer Price Index decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the prices fell by 2.1%.

Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditure of the Population in First Quarter of 2014 (preliminary data)
In the first quarter of 2014, 684.7 thousand Bulgarian residents made tourist trips. The majority (84.0%) of them travelled only within the country, 12.8% - only abroad and 3.2% - both in the country and abroad. Compared to the same quarter of 2013 the total number of the travelled persons aged 15 and over rose by 24.4%, as an increase was observed in the number of the Bulgarian residents travelled in the country - by 24.6%, as well as in the number of persons travelled abroad - by 23.4%.
