Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, July 2014
In July 2014 compared to June 2014 an increase of the production of solid fuels by 32.5%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 25.0%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 7.3%, transport diesel - by 9.4% and electricity by - 11.9% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of natural gas by 18.8% is reported.
In July 2014 compared to June 2014 an increase of the deliveries of solid fuels by 29.4%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 15.2%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 23.8%, transport diesel - by 20.7%, and electricity - by 5.6% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of natural gas by 5.7% is reported.

Producer Price Indices in Industry, August 2014
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in August 2014 decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the domestic prices fell by 1.0%. Total Producer Price Index in August 2014 remained at the level of the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the prices went down by 0.5%.

Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in August 2014
In August 2014, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 460.2 thousand or by 2.8% above the registered in August 2013. The trips with holiday and recreation purposes in August 2014 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 41.2%, followed by the trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) - 40.2%, and with professional purpose - 18.6%.
In August 2014, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 690.2 thousands or by 1.2% under the level of August 2013. A decrease was registered in the trips with holiday and recreation purpose - by 14.6% while the trips with professional purpose and with other purposes increased by 50.4% and 17.6% respectively.

In September 2014 the total business climate indicator decreases by 2.6 percentage points compared to the previous month which is due to the more unfavourable business climate in industry, construction and retail trade.

In 2012, Bulgaria spent 13 597.7 Million BGN for social protection. Тo finance social protection in the country, 7430.4 Million BGN were allocated from the state budget while the receipts of social protection contributions amounted to 6 854.8 Million BGN.

Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - June 2014 (preliminary data)
In the period January - June 2014 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 2.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 12.6 Billion BGN while the imports increased by 3.6% and added up to 14.9 Billion BGN.
In June 2014 the exports to the EU increased by 10.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 2.3 Billion BGN while the imports increased by 3.1% and amounted to 2.6 Billion BGN.

Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in the Period January - July 2014 (preliminary data)
In the period January - July 2014 the Bulgarian exports to third countries decreased by 12.0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 8.9 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 6.4% and added up to 11.0 Billion BGN.
In the period January - July 2014 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 24.1 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding period of 2013 the exports decreased by 2.8% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 28.7 Billion BGN and decreased by 1.2%.

Foreign Trade of Bulgaria in 2013 - Final Data
In 2013 the exported goods were for 43.6 Billion BGN and compared to 2012 the exports increased by 7.2%. The imported goods in 2013 were for 50.5 Billion BGN (at CIF prices) or 1.4% more than the previous year.
