In December 2020, the National Statistical Institute conducted the monthly inquiry survey of the managers of accommodation establishments to gather accurate and timely information on the state and development of their businesses during the ensuing epidemic situation in the country.

Environmental Statistics - Annual data for 2019
The National Statistical Institute presents the results of annual surveys in the field of environmental statistics for 2019.
The tangible fixed assets with ecological use are a part of the total tangible fixed assets within the country. In 2019, the share of tangible fixed assets with ecological use at the end of the year by accounting value amounts to 4.8% of the total tangible fixed assets available in the country.
The expenditure of environmental protection and restoration are part of the total expenditure of tangible and intangible fixed assets. In 2019, the share of expenditure available at the end of the year for acquisition of tangible and intangible fixed assets with ecological use amounts to 2.4% of the total expenditure for acquisition of tangible and intangible fixed assets in the country.
In year 2019 5 435 million cubic meters of fresh water are abstracted in the country, which is 0.2% more than in 2018. The daily average household water consumption from public water supply remains on the same level compared to 2018 - 99 litres per capita.
Economic Accounts for Agriculture for 2020 (First Estimation)
According to the first estimate of Economic Accounts for Agriculture in 2020 the value of final output in agriculture was by 8.3% lower than in previous year. The gross value added decreased by 11.5%, net operating surplus/mixed income - by 6.4% and net entrepreneurial income by 6.3%.

Consumption per capita varied between 58% and 135% of the EU average.

In 2020, 78.9% of the households in Bulgaria had internet access at home, which was by 3.8 percentage points more compared to the previous year.
Information and Communication Technologies Usage in Enterprises in 2020
In 2020, 95.5% of the non-financial enterprises with 10 or more persons employed had internet access and among the big enterprises with 250 or more persons employed, the relative share was 100.0%.
Trade in goods of Bulgaria with EU in the Period January - September 2020 (preliminary data)
In the period January - September 2020 the exports of goods from Bulgarian to the EU decreased by 5.7% in comparison to the same period of 2019 and amounted to 26 440.2 Million BGN while the imports of goods to Bulgaria from the EU dropped by 10.7% and reached 26 475.8 Million BGN.
In September 2020 the exports of goods to the EU increased by 2.4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 3 184.3 Million BGN while the imports of goods grew by 2.3% and added up to 3 256.4 Million BGN.
