The International Statistical Poster Competition 2022 - 2023 is organized by the International Association for Statistical Education (IASE), the education section of the International Statistical Institute (ISI). In Bulgaria, the competition is run by the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
The aim of the initiative is to increase the statistical culture of students, provoke interest in statistical research, and develop teamwork skills in the interpretation of statistical data and the use of graphical and mathematical methods for their presentation.
To participate in the competition, students need to form teams (from 1 to 5 people), which will be divided into three age categories:
1. Students born in 2007 or younger
2. Students born between 2004 and 2006 inclusive
3. University/college students (no age restrictions).

The winners of the international round will be announced at the 64th World Statistics Congress of the International Statistical Institute in July 2023 in Canada.
The National Statistical Institute invites Bulgarian mentors, students, and pupils to participate in the competition to showcase their knowledge and skills and consolidate our country's prestige from past competitions. NSI will be of help to all those who wish to perform at an international level.
