The project duration is 18 months (September 2016 - February 2018) and amounts to 1 566 401.43 BGN.
The main objective of the project is aligning of the NSI information assets in accordance with the ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 „Information Security Management System” requirements, necessary for the implementation of European and national statistical programmes and requirements of subsequent migration to the State hybrid private cloud.
As a result of the successful implementation of the project, the hardware and software necessary for the reliable functioning and development of the NSI information systems will be provided.
Mrs. Diana Yancheva, Deputy President of the NSI, explained the importance of the IT infrastructure for the timely production and provision of quality statistical information and services by the NSI.
Mr. Yuri Stamenov, Project Manager and Director of “Information Systems and Infrastructure” Directorate, stressed that the implementation of the project will guarantee the integrity of NSI's information assets, will improve information security and infrastructure management.
After the project implementation, the technical and software tools used will be included as elements of the State hybrid private cloud.
