The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to submit to the attention of national and foreign users of statistical information the 76th edition of the Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Bulgaria 2008. It provides topical statistical information on the demographic, economic and social development of the country for the 2002 - 2007 period in different territorial and classification aggregations and breakdowns.

The National Statistical Institute presents the electronic bulletin Employment and Unemployment - 4/2008 to its users.

The bulletin is a quarterly electronic publication of the National Statistical Institute, presenting the results from the Labour force survey. The Labour force survey is a sample statistical survey on households for examination of the economic activity of the population aged 15 years and over.

The methodology of the survey has been developed according to ILO and Eurostat recommendations.

 

The National Statistical Institute informs its customers that vol. 3/2008 of Statistics Journal is already available. The following articles are included in it:

The annual bilingual publication ‘Energy Balance Sheets 2007’ contains the data for 2003 - 2007 on energy statistics obtained from the current surveys of the National Statistical Institute.
