Publications

The National Statistical Institute presents the annual publication ‘Tourism 2009’ to users with an interest in statistical information in the field of tourism (in a printed version and on a CD). The publication is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains statistical data on the development of tourism in Bulgaria. Basic statistical data for the years 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000 and the period 2007 – 2009 are included, along with methodological notes.

 

The data are classified into five sections:

The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information in the field of social statistics that the annual publication Health Services 2009 (in Bulgarian only) is already available.

The publication Health Services is a joint edition of the National Statistical Institute and the National Centre of Health Information at the Ministry of Health.

The data sources are the statistical surveys carried out by the both institutions.

The annual bilingual publication ‘Energy Balance Sheets 2008’ contains the data for 2003 - 2008 on energy statistics obtained from the current surveys of the National Statistical Institute.
