National Statistical Institute opened a new English version of its website. It has the following characteristics:
• User oriented;
• Identical structure in all thematic areas;
• Box of relevant key figures for socio-economic development (inflation, GDP growth, rates of employment and unemployment, etc..)
• Wide range of subject areas - survey results included in the List of standard statistical indicators at national and regional level;
• Metadata and methodological notes for each area;
• Catalogue of issued publications with an option to download electronic publications;
• Database in Excel format, allowing for easy and fast processing. The information is organized in two sections - date information and time series.
The website is fully dynamic and is realized on a platform Linux / MySQL / PHP, as supported by a modular system CMS (system for managing content).
