The National Statistical Institute opens help centre for assistance on questions for the census for citizens and enumerators. The centre opens its doors today, 16th September, and will work every day from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m., also at weekends. It is located in the NSI building in Sofia on 2, Panayot Volov Str.
The citizens can get counted electronically on the spot, on laptops and tablets provided by NSI, while they can ask questions and get assistance by NSI experts during the process of completing the online questionnaire. The visitors will be provided with face masks and disinfectants, as well as with the necessary social distancing between the work places where they will get counted.
‘The idea for the on-the-spot help centre was born after analysing the questions the citizens are asking on the phone and on the announced email addresses,’ explained NSI President Sergey Tsvetarsky. He added that the information which all experts from the call centre fill in about the asked questions, as well as the length of some phone calls, are indicative of the need for personal contact in some cases.
The help centre at NSI which is to provide on-the-spot assistance will complete the work of the contact centre, which goes on answering inquiries on the phone numbers and on the email addresses now.
Besides to the citizens, the experts will also explain to the people who are to work as enumerators and controllers.
We remind that citizens throughout the country can seek assistance on the following census phone numbers: *2021 or (02) 907 84 30 (from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m. every day).
Census 2021 email addresses: [email protected] and [email protected].
