The training course “Introduction to theory and organisation of statistical surveys” will be held during the period 5-14 December 2016 at the NSI Training and Qualification Center in the village of Slivek, Lovech district. The aim of the course is acquaintance with the main concepts of statistical theory as well as the organization of some statistical surveys in accordance with EU standards in the field of statistics. During the training the participants will be familiarized with the practical aspects of statistical surveys conducted in Bulgaria in the field of demographic, macroeconomic and business statistics as well as some new methods for data collection, including Big Data.
The training is the last of series of events in 2016 related to the constantly developing relations between the National Statistical Institute and the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan - implementation of activities under the joint twinning project, visit of the Chairman in Sofia, signing a second joint Action plan within the bilateral cooperation.
