Digital Library of the National Statistical Institute provides free of charge online access to the whole collection ‘Foreign Trade Statistics of Bulgaria’ for the 1880 - 2009 period.
The collection contains more than 52 000 pages and provides opportunity to trace the development of Bulgaria's foreign trade, as well as changes and improvement of methods and technology of gathering, processing and presentation of statistical information in the 135-year history of the Bulgarian state statistics.
Foreign trade statistics is a valuable source of information on volumes and scale of commercial operations in different historical periods. Users can follow the dynamics in import, export, transit and anthrepozit for the relevant period to make comparisons in classifications and values of goods and to establish their place of origin and destination.
