Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union, is organising a High Level Seminar for the Eastern European, Caucasus and Central Asian Countries (EECCA), entitled ‘Quality in Statistics: The National Statistical System’ which will take place on 1 - 3 June 2015 in Riga, Latvia - the country holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU in this period.
The seminar is aimed for the top management of the National Statistical Institutes of the EECCA countries and is dedicated to two main topics:
- Quality
- The National Statistical System
The President of the National Statistical Institute, Mr. Sergey Tsvetarsky, will take part in the seminar as a speaker and will make a presentation on the Bulgarian National Statistical System - achievements and challenges.
