On Monday, November 25, 2013, at 13:00 h in the press-center room of the National Statistical Institute a multi-media presentation will be held to the 12th grade students from 19th Secondary School "Elin Pelin", profile "Entrepreneurship and Business”. The lecture will be presented by Mr. Bogdan Bogdanov, Ph.D., Head of department „Households, Income and Expenditure Statistics” at the National Statistical Institute. Statistical samples surveys - „Household Budget Survey”, „Analysis of Labour Force” and „Statistics on Income and Living Conditions” will be introduced to the students. The presentation will include Socio-economic analysis – its nature, techniques and specificities, as well as tabular and graphical presentation of statistical information.
In the premises of the National Statistical Institute, students from “Elin Pelin” Secondary School will make their first steps in the tradition created by the institution for the assimilation of information produced and disseminated by the state statistical authority, not only in accessible and comprehensible way, but also in a manner that the statistical information could be useful for the future economists and entrepreneurs. With this lecture held for a second consecutive year, the organisers of the event and personally Bogdan Bogdanov, Ph.D., affirm the initiative of the National Statistical Institute held under the motto: “Let’s make Bulgarian statistics transparent, understandable and accessible so that it makes sense.”
