Good cooperation between statistical offices of Bulgaria and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia continues

On 16-18 April 2013 the National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria will provide technical assistance to the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) in the framework of IPA 2011 Multi-Beneficiary Statistical Co-operation Programme (IPA 2011).
The BNSI will host the Study visit in the field of Regional National Accounts. Experts from Macroeconomic Statistics Directorate will acquaint Macedonian colleagues with Bulgarian experience in the field of National Accounts, implementation of the European System of Accounts ’95 (ESA’95) and the changes in the European System of Accounts 2010 (ESA 2010). Special attention will be placed on the Regional Gross Value Added (RGVA) data compilation process in both countries. Recommendations for improvement of data preparation in the State Statistical Office of Macedonia will be provided.
During the same period Mr Anastas Troianski, Head of Business Registers Department, will visit the State Statistical Office of Macedonia in Skopje. The main purpose of his visit is to share methodological and practical experiences in the field of Business registers. Evlauation of the results achieved by the Macedonian colleagues will be made and further methodological and practical steps for making progress of full implementation of the Regulation (EC) 177/2008 establishing a common framework for business registers for statistical purposes will be proposed.
