The President of the National Statistical Institute Assoc. Prof. Mariana Kotzeva will participate in the 43rd meeting of the Partnership Group, which will be held on 21 December 2011 in Paris.
Discussions will focus on the preparation and setting of strategic priorities for the Annual Work Programme 2013, management and structure of the European Statistical System. Strategic issues such as implementation of the Communication from the Commission “Towards robust quality management for European Statistics”, in particular the procedure for adoption of the revised Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics, report from the Polish Presidency, Programme of the Danish Presidency starting on 1 January 2012 and implementation of the recommendations of the Sponsorship on Quality will be considered. Other topics to be covered are related to the report of the Sponsorship on Standardisation, Eurostat policy as regards small grants, theme for the DGINS 2012 Conference to be held in Prague and progress made in implementing the project “Master in Official Statistics”.
