Experts from the State Statistical Office of the Russian Federation (ROSSTAT), working in the field of retail trade statistics were on a three-day mission (30 November – 2 December 2010) to BNSI.
During the mission the Bulgarian statisticians will share their experience and NSI achievements in the process of harmonization of short-term and structural business statistics indicators in the field of retail trade. Leading experts from the “Trade Statistics and SBS” division at NSI will acquaint their Russian colleagues with the requirements and EC regulations concerning the type and contents of short-term and structural business statistics indicators in trade statistics.
The mission is being conducted within the framework of the bilateral cooperation between both countries. When Mr. Sokolin – Head of ROSSTAT visited BNSI in Sofia in April 2009, a protocol was signed, updating the already concluded Agreement for cooperation between the two institutions as of 1999.
