The Partnership Group Meeting will be held on 25th June in Dublin.
At the Meeting, special attention will be devoted to discussions and approval of the agenda of the 96th DGINS on ”Measuring progress, well-being and sustainable development” and the 6th ESSC Meeting, Bulgaria being the host of both meetings within the 29 September – 1 October 2010 period.
The members of the Group will discuss also a number of important issues for the ESS development, such as the impact of reductions in National budgets on National Statistical Systems, the report of the Spanish Presidency, the plans of the Belgian Presidency and the update on work of Sponsorship on Quality.
The NSI President was elected as a member of the ESS Partnership Group, the mission of which is to support the ESSC activities and develop strategic documents in the field of EC statistics.
Mrs. Kotzeva is one of the four Director Generals (DG) of National Statistical Offices elected by direct vote of all 27 Director Generals for the term of 2 years. The Group meets four times a year. The next meeting will be carried out on 1st October in Sofia, when the Bulgarian statistics will host the 96th DGINS.
