Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in June 2011
In June 2011, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents in abroad was 328.8 thousand or 3.8% more than the number of the trips in June 2010. In June 2011, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 058.8 thousand or 9.1% more than the number of trips in the corresponding month of 2010.
Market Price Indices of Dwellings for the Second Quarter of 2011
The market price index of the dwellings for the second quarter of 2011 compared to the first quarter of 2011 was 98.4%, i.e. the average decrease of the market prices of the dwellings was 1.6%.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in June 2011
The consumer price index (CPI) in June 2011 compared to May 2011 was 99.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.9%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in June 2011 compared to May 2011 was 99.7%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.3%.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - May 2011 (preliminary data)
In the period January - May 2011 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 45.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and exceeded 6.1 billion levs while the imports increased by 27.8% and reached to 7.3 billion levs
In the period January - May 2011 the total value of the exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 15.7 billion levs and compared to the corresponding period of 2010 the exports increased by 47.2% while the total value of all imported goods was 17.4 billion levs and increased by 25.6%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - April 2011 (preliminary data)
In the period January - April 2011 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 51.7% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 7.5 billion levs while the imports increased by 24.9% and amounted to 7.8 billion levs.
In April 2011 the exports to the EU increased by 38.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and exceeded 1.8 billion levs while the imports increased by 27.5% and amounted to 2.1 billion levs.
Books and Pamphlets Production for the Peroid January - September 2010 and Continued Editions in 2010
The National Statistical Institute represents data on the publishing production in the country (books and pamphlets) and continued editions (newspapers and periodicals). Data source is the National Library "St. St. Cyril and Methodius”. Main indicators and coverage are designed in accordance with methodological requirements of UNESCO.
Construction Production Indices in May 2011
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in May 2011 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 0.1% below the level recorded the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in May 2011
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted decreased by 0.5% in May 2011 as compared to April 2011. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 7.8% as compared to the same month of 2010.
Crimes, Accused Persons and Persons Convicted in 2010
In 2010 the trials ended with penalty inflicted cover 35 397 committed crimes. The number of persons convicted with penalties came into force is 39 070. Compared to 2009 a decrease of the number of crimes with penalties inflicted and persons convicted is observed by 5.4% and by 4.4% respectively.
