Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, January 2014
In January 2014 compared to December 2013 an increase of the production of unleaded motor gasoline - by 5.4%, transport diesel - by 0.8% and electricity - by 0.1% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of solid fuels - by 4.6% and natural gas by - 8.3% is reported. No change of the production of liquefied petroleum gases is reported.
In January 2014 compared to December 2013 an increase of the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.6% and natural gas - by 0.9% is reported. At the same time a decrease for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 4.3%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 2.9%, transport diesel - by 23.9%, and electricity - by 1.2% is reported.
Business Conjuncture, March 2014
In March 2014 the total business climate indicator increases by 1.2 percentage points compared to its level from the previous month. In construction and retail trade the business climate rises by 1.5 and 7.0 percentage points respectively, and in service sector remains approximately its level from February. Only in industry the indicator decreases by 1.3 percentage points.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, February 2014
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in February 2014 remained at the level of the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the domestic prices fell by 2.5%. Total Producer Price Index decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2013 the prices fell by 3.3%.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in February 2014
In February 2014, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 249.5 thousand or by 1.4% above the registered in February 2013. The trips with other purposes (as guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 56.4%, followed by the trips with professional purpose - 24.3%, and with holiday and recreation purposes - 19.3%.
In February 2014, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 320.4 thousand as compared to February 2013 they remain approximately at the same level. An increase was registered in the visits with professional purpose - by 6.7%, while the visits with holiday and recreation purpose and other purposes decreased by 1.2 and 0.6% respectively.
Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Fourth Quarter of 2013
Preliminary data of the NSI for the fourth quarter of 2013 indicated that the total hourly labour cost has risen by 4.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2012.

Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in January 2014 (preliminary data)
In January 2014 Bulgarian exports to third countries decreased by 22.1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 1.1 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 2.0% and added up to 1.6 Billion BGN.
In January 2014 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 3.1 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding month of 2013 the exports decreased by 10.9% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 3.9 Billion BGN and increased by 5.6%.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in January 2014
In January 2014, 1 886 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 55.2 thousands and the bed-places were 110.1 thousands. In comparison with January 2013 the total number of accommodation establishments increased by 5.3% and the bed-places in them - by 6.4%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in January 2014 was 733.8 thousand or by 13.9% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year. The total revenues from nights spent in January 2014 reached 34.3 million BGN or by 15.1% more compared to January 2013.
Bulgarian Trade with EU for 2013 (preliminary data)
In 2013 Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 9.1% compared to 2012 and amounted to 26.1 Billion BGN while the imports from EU grew by 3.1% and added up to 30.2 Billion BGN.
In December 2013 the exports to the EU increased by 3.4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 1.7 Billion BGN while the imports increased by 12.7% and added up to 2.5 Billion BGN.
