Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Second Quarter of 2017
Preliminary data of the NSI for the second quarter of 2017 indicate that the total hourly labour cost rose by 11.0% compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Adult Education Survey is conducted once every five years in all EU Member States through a common methodology and a harmonized toolkit that provides comparable data for assessment on lifelong learning.
The National Statistical Institute presents final results from the survey conducted in the end of 2016.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in August 2017
The consumer price index in August 2017 compared to July 2017 was 100.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.1%.
Activity of accommodation establishments in July 2017
In July 2017, 3 114 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 135.6 thousand and the bed-places were 320.8 thousand. In comparison with July 2016, the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased with 1.1%, and the bed-places in them - by 4.8%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in July 2017 was 6 009.5 thousand, or by 4.8% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year.
The total revenues from nights spent in July 2017 reached 317.0 million BGN or by 10.7% more compared to July 2016.

Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - June 2017 (preliminary data)
In the period January - June 2017 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 11.3% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 16 345.6 Million BGN while the imports grew by 12.2% and added up to 18 067.5 Million BGN.
In June 2017 the exports to the EU increased by 13.1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 3 048.5 Million BGN while the imports grew by 7.6% and amounted to 3 122.5 Million BGN.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - July 2017 (preliminary data)
In the period January - July 2017 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 18.9% compared to the same period of 2016 and amounted to 10 304.5 Million BGN while the imports grew by 29.9% and added up to 12 135.7 Million BGN.
In the period January - July 2017 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 29 772.4 Million BGN and in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year the exports increased by 13.8% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 33 192.8 Million BGN and grew by 17.0%.
Bulgaria and EU: Gross Domestic Product, second quarter of 2017 (preliminary data)
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2017 increased by 0.7% in the EU-28 compared to the previous quarter by seasonally adjusted data. For the same period GDP in Bulgaria increased by 1.0%.
Construction Production Indices in July 2017
According to the preliminary data, in July 2017 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 0.6% above the level of the previous month. In July 2017 the working day adjusted index of production in construction increased by 7.9% in comparison with the same month of 2016.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in July 2017
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in July 2017 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month.
