Newly Built Residential Buildings and Dwellings Completed in the Second Quarter of 2020 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute in the second quarter of 2020 the number of newly built residential buildings was 766 and the newly built dwellings in them were 3 660. Compared to the second quarter of 2019 the buildings were by 104 more (or by 15.7%) and the newly built dwellings in them increased by 1 317 or by 56.2%.
Consumer Survey, July 2020
In July 2020, the total consumer confidence indicator increases by 3.3 percentage points in comparison with April, as for the urban population the increase is 2.7 percentage points and for the rural population - 4.5 percentage points.
Building Permits Issued and Construction of New Buildings Started in the Second Quarter of 2020
In the second quarter of 2020, the municipal authorities issued building permits for construction of 1 362 residential buildings with 5 928 dwellings, of 31 administrative buildings/offices and 935 other buildings. The construction of 979 residential buildings with 4 766 dwellings, of 21 administrative buildings/offices and 584 other buildings was started.

More specifically business demography supplies data on number of active enterprises, number of newborn enterprises, proportion of survived enterprises and data on changes in employment figures at specific moment in time.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, May 2020
In May 2020 compared to April 2020 a decrease is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 31.6%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 40.6%, transport diesel - by 41.1%, and electricity - by 10.8%. No change for the production of liquefied petroleum gases and natural gas.
In May 2020 compared to April 2020 an increase is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 100.0%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 87.0%, and transport diesel - by 41.7%. A decrease is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 30.6%, natural gas - by 20.3%, and electricity - by 9.1%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, June 2020
Total Producer Price Index in June 2020 rose by 1.0% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2019 the prices fell by 3.2%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in June 2020 increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2019 the domestic prices fell by 0.9%.
Business Conjuncture, July 2020
In July 2020, the total business climate indicator increases by 2.5 percentage points compared to the previous month. An increase of the indicator is observed in retail trade and in service sector, in industry preserves its level from the June 2020, and in construction, a reduction is registered.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in June 2020
In June 2020, during the continuing epidemic situation in the country, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 286.1 thousand, or by 60.1% under the registered in June 2019.
In June 2020, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 380.7 thousand or by 75.2% less in comparison with June 2019.

Activity and condition of accommodation establishments during the state of emergency in June 2020
In July 2020, the National Statistical Institute conducted the monthly inquiry survey of the managers of accommodation establishments to gather accurate and timely information on the state and development of their businesses during the ensuing epidemic situation in the country.
