In connection with the campaign for the submission of the annual activity reports (AAR) of enterprises in 2022, we remind you that the system jointly established by the NSI and the NRA for the submission of annual activity reports continues to function, i.e. legal entities and individuals can submit their annual activity reports in one place. As before, this can be done electronically (on-line) in the NSI's Business Statistics Information System, available on the Internet at https://isbs.nsi.bg.
By June 30, 2023, respondents will have access to the system to submit the following applications:
• Annual report on the activity of non-financial enterprises not drawing up a balance sheet - it shall be submitted by sole traders who are not subject to a mandatory independent financial audit and, in accordance with Article 29, paragraph 3 of the Accounting Act, have generated net sales revenues of up to BGN 200 thousand in 2022, as well as by natural persons under Article 20, paragraph 3 of the Accounting Act. 3 of the Statistics Act (including farmers, for the economic activity carried out by them, as well as persons exercising a free profession), Art. 26, par. 7 and Art. 29a par. 1 of the Personal Income Tax Act (PITA);
• Annual Report on the Activities of Non-Financial Balance Sheet Enterprises - Enterprises with branches, subdivisions, activities, units and events must also submit separate statistical reports for their subdivisions, branches, activities, units and events, including in the territory of another municipality;
• Annual report on the activities of insurers;
• Annual report on the activities of investment firms - investment intermediaries, investment companies, management companies, mutual funds and special purpose vehicles;
• Annual report on the activities of pension insurance companies;
• Annual report on the activities of supplementary pension funds and payment funds;
• Annual report on the activities of non-profit enterprises - associations and foundations, including political parties, churches, community centres, etc.;
• Statistical returns for budget enterprises and banks;
• Annual report on the activities of companies in liquidation or bankruptcy;
• Declaration for enterprises with revenues and expenses below BGN 500 and for enterprises with no activity.
