Between March and June 2023, the National Statistical Institute will conduct a survey ‘Statistics on Income and Living Conditions 2023’. A random sample of 9400 households distributed across all districts of the country will be selected. The selected households will be visited by specially trained interviewers for personal interviews and completion of two questionnaires. The first questionnaire concerns the household as a whole and the second questionnaire will collect information on each household member. The aim of the survey is to obtain information on poverty in the country, people's income and participation in social life. The survey is being conducted in parallel in all countries of the European Union with a common methodology and instruments.
