On November 24, 2022, at 2 PM at a seminar for national and regional media, the National Statistical Institute will announce the Census 2021 data on the ethno-cultural characteristics of the population. In addition to attending the event in person, each journalist will have the opportunity to follow the event online, which will be broadcast on the NSI's Facebook and YouTube channels as well as on the Census 2021 website.
Assoc. Prof. Atanas Atanasov, PhD, President of the National Statistical Institute; Diana Yancheva, Deputy President of the National Statistical Institute; and Magdalena Kostova, Director of the Demographic and Social Statistics Directorate, will participate in the seminar.
On November 25 at 9.30 AM, there will be a discussion on ‘Influence of the number and structure of the population of Bulgaria on the social, social and economic processes in the country’, which will be attended by Assoc. Prof. Elitsa Dimitrova, PhD, from the Institute for Population and Human Studies at the BAS and Petar Ganev from the Institute for Market Economics.
