The National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria has published data from its regular statistical surveys related to the monitoring of the National strategy for poverty reduction and promotion of social inclusion 2030  (NSPRPSI 2030). The strategy contains a vision, goals and priorities for establishing an integrated approach to the prevention of poverty, as well as managing the consequences of its spread and contributes to the coherence and complementarity of sectoral policies and strategies that help promote social inclusion.

The fight against poverty is  one of the key goals of the UN Agenda 2030 and is directly linked to its basic principle of ‘no one to be abandoned’, which places a special focus on vulnerable people and groups at risk of marginalization and social exclusion. In that sense the leading priorities outlined in NSPRPSI 2030 in the field of employment, education, healthcare correspond to the implementation of the UN Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals.

More information about the strategy and monitoring indicators can be found at IS Monitorstat in section ‘National strategies’.
