The first meeting of the Council Working Party on Statistics under the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which is also the first meeting of the Trio Presidency Estonia-Bulgaria-Austria, will be held on 19 July 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
On the agenda will be the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on integrated farm statistics and repealing Regulations (EC) No. 1166/2008 and (EU) No. 1337/2011.
The National Statistical Institute will be represented at the meeting by NSI President Sergey Tsvetarsky, who will chair the Council Working Party on Statistics during the upcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council, Deputy President Diana Yancheva, who is also Deputy Chair-designate of the Council Working Party on Statistics, and Georgi Peshev, Chief Expert at the International Cooperation Department.
