The NSI trains experts from the Statistical Office of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the field of Consumer Price statistics

On 22 - 25 June 2015 the National Statistical Institute will host a four-day study visit on which experts from ‘Macroeconomic Statistics’ Directorate will acquaint their Macedonian colleagues with Bulgarian experience in the field of Consumer price statistics.  
 
During the study visit the main issues will be devoted to:
 
• Review and implementation of the legislation in the field of consumer price statistics
• Establishing a pilot production system for HICP-CT indices
• Establishing the compilation system of the HICP - administered prices (HICP-AP)
• Experimental implementation of the concept of consumption segments and the HICP standards for particular products
• Recommendations on the compilation of the inventory of sources and methods for price statistics
• Practice concerning data dissemination on HICP.

The meeting will be opened by the Vice-President of NSI - Dr. Bogdan Bogdanov.  The study visit of Macedonian colleagues will be chaired by Ms. Albena Dancheva, Head of Consumer Price Statistics and PPP Department, involving experts from the Department.

The NSI provides technical assistance to the State Statistical Office of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia within the framework of IPA 2012 Multi-Beneficiary Statistical Co-operation Programme (IPA 2012).
