NSI has started a project ‘Statistics on the Information Society 2015’ implemented in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission № 06163.2014.004-2014.476. The project includes conducting of two separate surveys - ‘Survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals’ and ‘Survey on ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises’. The surveys will be carried out in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1196/2014 of 30 October 2014 implementing Regulation (EC) № 808/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning Community statistics on the information society and will be held simultaneously in all EU Member States, with a common methodology that will ensure international comparability of results.
Data on the development of the information society among the population and the business - internet access, ICT usage, e-Commerce and e-Government, will be provided.
The duration of the project is 12 months and it will be completed in December 2015. Main results will be published on the NSI’s website.
