NSI Will Train Experts from the Statistical Office of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the Field of Agro-monetary Statistics

Two-day training began today during which experts from the ‘Macroeconomic Statistics’ directorate at NSI will acquaint their Macedonian colleagues with the Bulgarian experience in the field of agro-monetary statistics.
 
The main points of the study visit will be devoted to:
- Presentation of the agricultural statistics in Bulgaria from institutional point of view;
- Presentation of the Bulgarian experience in the domain of agro-monetary statistics production;
- Description of data flows contributed to the process of economic accounts in agriculture (EAA) data compilation;
- Presentation of the quality report for the elaboration of EAA;
- Review of the administrative data used in Bulgaria for EAA;
Compilation and analysis, presentation of agricultural price statistics (APS) in Bulgaria and others.

The study visit will be conducted by Ms. Girgina Nikolova - Head of ‘Agriculture and Forestry Statistics’ Department and Ms. Maria Iordanova - State expert at ‘Agriculture and Forestry Statistics’ Department.

The present study visit is technical assistance to the State Statistical Office of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, which the National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria provides within the framework of IPA 2012 Multi-Beneficiary Statistical Co-operation Programme (IPA 2012).
