On 4 June 2014, under the chairmanship of Prof. Hristina Vucheva was held a meeting of the National Statistics Council (NSC), which is the highest advisory body in the field of statistics at the national level.
The meeting will focus on presentation and discussion of the Annual Work Program for 2015 of the European Union (Annual Work Programme 2015) and the planned negative priorities. Information about the meeting of the European Statistical System Committee, held on 14th and 15th May 2014 in Luxembourg, was also presented.
NSC members expressed their high appreciation for the cooperation between National Statistical Institute, Bulgarian National Bank and other national authorities.
At the conclusion of the meeting the Acting President of NSI Sergey Tsvetarsky thanked the members of the NSC for their contribution to the development and improvement of the National Statistical System.
