The Strategy for Development of the National Statistical System of the Republic of Bulgaria, 2013 – 2017, was adopted on 30 October 2013 by a Decision of the Council of Ministers.
The Strategy outlines the directions for development, priorities, objectives and provision of resources in regard to the National Statistical System until 2017. Sustainability criteria are laid down in the Strategy, due consideration is given to the tendencies and development objectives of the European Statistical System, as well as the increasing demand of the society for timely and objective statistical information produced in accordance with harmonised European methodology and standards.
