Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in November 2011
The consumer price index (CPI) in November 2011 compared to October 2011 was 100.3%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.3%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in November 2011 compared to October 2011 was 100.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.1%.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - October 2011 (preliminary data)
In the period January - October 2011 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 28.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and exceeded 12.3 billion levs while the imports increased by 23.6% and amounted to 15.4 billion levs
In the period January - October 2011 the total value of the exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 32.6 billion levs and compared to the corresponding period of 2010 the exports increased by 31.3% while the total value of all imported goods was 36.8 billion levs and increased by 22.3%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - September 2011 (preliminary data)
In the period January - September 2011 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 34.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 18.1 billion levs while the imports increased by 20.5% and amounted to 18.7 billion levs.
In September 2011 the exports to the EU increased by 22.7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and exceeded 2.0 billion levs while the imports increased by 10.3% and exceeded 2.1 billion levs.
Construction Production Indices in October 2011
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in October 2011 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 0.2% above the level of the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in October 2011
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index seasonally adjusted increased by 0.4% in October 2011 as compared to September 2011. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 2.4% as compared to the same month of 2010.
Gross Domestic Product for the Third Quarter of 2011
In the third quarter of 2011 GDP at current prices amounts to 21 016 million levs. In Euro terms GDP reaches to 10 745 million euro or 1 448.4 euro per person. According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the third quarter of 2011 is 0.3% compared with the second quarter of 2011 and 1.6% compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
NUTS3 Level Data Collection Exercise for Rural Development Statistics Covering the Period 2005-2010
The National Statistical Institute has concluded the work under 2010 Eurostat Grant Scheme Project “NUTS3 level data collection exercise for Rural Development Statistics covering the period 2005-2010”. The Project started at the beginning of the 2011 and lasted 11 months. The main aim is to supply information needed for the extension and continuation of Eurostat database in the domain of Rural Areas Statistics for 27 Member States.
Household Income, Expenditure and Consumption during the Third Quarter of 2011
The average quarterly total income average per household member during the third quarter of 2011 is 978 Levs or by 5.0% less compared to the same quarter of 2010.
The total expenditure per household member during the third quarter of 2011 is 917 Levs and it increases by 8.6% in relation to the same quarter of 2010.
The consumption of main food products average per capita doesn’t change during the third quarter of 2011 compared to the third quarter of 2010.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, October 2011
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2011 decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2010 the domestic prices grew by 6.5%. Total Producer Price Index decreased by 1.5% compared to the previous month, compared to the same month of 2010 the prices went up by 7.3%.
