Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Fourth Quarter of 2014
Preliminary data of the NSI for the fourth quarter of 2014 indicate that the total hourly labour cost rose by 3.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2013.

The consumer price index in February 2015 compared to January 2015 was 100.2%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.2.
In 2014 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 3.2% compared to the previous year and amounted to 27.0 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 4.5% and added up to 31.5 Billion BGN.
In December 2014 the exports to the EU increased by 18.7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2.1 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 13.3% and added up to 2.8 Billion BGN.
In January 2015 Bulgarian exports to third countries decreased by 2.5% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 1.1 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 9.9% and added up to 1.5 Billion BGN.
In January 2015 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 3.4 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding month of 2014 the exports increased by 8.9% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 3.8 Billion BGN and decreased by 4.2%.
In January 2015, 1 983 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 55.9 thousands and the bed-places were 112.3 thousands. In comparison with January 2014 the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased by 5.1% and the bed-places in them - by 2.0%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in January 2015 was 741.7 thousands or by 1.1% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year. The total revenues from nights spent in January 2015 reached 36.2 million BGN or by 5.5% more compared to January 2014.
According to the preliminary data, in January 2015 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 1.7% below the level of the previous month. In January 2015 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 4.2% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in January 2015 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month.
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 2.0% in January 2015 as compared to December 2014. In January 2015 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 1.7% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the fourth quarter of 2014 is 1.3% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
