Gross Domestic Product, Second Quarter of 2015 (preliminary data)
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the second quarter of 2015 is 2.2% compared with the same quarter of 2014.
Foreign Direct Investments and Expenditure on Acquisition of Tangible Fixed Assets in 2014 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data the foreign direct investments in the non-financial sector as of 31.12.2014 amounted to 21 953 million Euro, which is 5.9% less compared to 2013.
Activity of Financial Enterprises and Associations and Foundations in 2014 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data 57 licensed insurers, 9 pension companies and 28 pension funds managed by them, 246 special investment purpose companies and 9 512 associations and foundations submitted their annual reports for 2014 at the National Statistical Institute.
Activity of Non Financial Enterprises for 2014 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data 319 744 non-financial enterprises submitted their annual reports for 2014 at the National Statistical Institute. They generated 129 258 million BGN of production value, realised 38 670 million BGN of value added at factor cost and employed 1 892 526 persons.
Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport in the Second Quarter of 2015 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the second quarter of 2015 in comparison with the same period of 2014 there was a growth in the transported goods (by 12.7%) as well in the transport performance (by 20.7%) from the freight transport.
Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the number of transported passengers by passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) decreased by 0.5%, while the transport performance rose by 1.8%.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, June 2015
In June 2015 compared to May 2015 an increase of the production of natural gas - by 14.3%, and electricity - by 14.2%, is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of solid fuels - by 6.8%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 0.6%, and transport diesel - by 6.3%, is reported. No change for the production of liquefied petroleum gases is reported.
In June 2015 compared to May 2015 an increase of the deliveries of transport diesel - by 6.8%, is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of solid fuels - by 6.8%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 8.3%, natural gas - by 4.8%, and electricity - by 1.0%, is reported. No change for the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline is reported.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, July 2015
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in July 2015 decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the domestic prices fell by 0.7%. Total Producer Price Index in July 2015 declined by 0.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the prices went down by 0.9%.
Business Conjuncture, August 2015
In August 2015 the total business climate indicator increases by 1.3 percentage points compared to its level from the previous month which is due to the improved managers’ opinions in industry and retail trade.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in July 2015
In July 2015, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 528.6 thousand or by 16.5% above the registered in July 2014. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in July 2015 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 42.4%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 41.7%, and with professional purpose - 15.9%.
In July 2015, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 631.9 thousand or by 9.0% below the level of July 2014. A decrease was registered in the visits by all observed purposes: with professional purpose - by 50.1%, with other purposes - by 4.9% and with holiday and recreation purpose - by 3.4%.
