Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, September 2018
In September 2018 compared to August 2018 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels by 29.7%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 20.0%, transport diesel - by 3.5% and electricity - by 9.2%. No change for the production of unleaded motor gasoline.
In September 2018 compared to August 2018 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 28.6% and natural gas - by 16.4%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline - by 14.3%, transport diesel - by 8.3% and electricity - by 5.6%. No change for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases.
Business Conjuncture, November 2018
In November 2018, the total business climate indicator increases by 0.6 percentage points in comparison with October, which is due to the improved business conjuncture in industry and retail trade.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in October 2018
In October 2018, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 454.7 thousand or by 3.6% above the registered in October 2017. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in October 2018 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 44.6%, followed by the trips with professional purpose - 29.1%, and with holiday and recreation purpose - 26.3%.
In October 2018, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 739.3 thousand or by 3.8% more in comparison with October 2017. In October 2018, the predominant share of the visits with other purposes was 46.0%, followed by trips with holiday and recreation purpose - 34.9%, and with professional purpose - 19.1%.
Price Indices in Agriculture, Third Quarter of 2018
The producer price index in agriculture in the third quarter of 2018 increased by 6.6% in comparison with the same quarter of 2017. The crop output index increased by 7.7%, as well as the animal output index - by 0.1%. In comparison with previous year the prices of agricultural output went up by 1.7% due to the increase in crop output price index - by 2.7% and decrease in animal output price index - by 3.7%.
The index of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in the third quarter of 2018 was by 4.0% higher compared to the same quarter of previous year and by 4.7% compared to 2017.
Goods and passengers carried and transport performance by mode of transport in the third quarter of 2018 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the third quarter of 2018 in comparison with the same period of 2017 there was a decrease both in the goods carried and in the transport performance by the freight land and water transport.
In the third quarter of 2018 the transported passengers and the transport performance by passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) decreased compared to the same period of the previous year, respectively by 6.5% and 6.1%.
Turnover Indices in Services in the Third Quarter of 2018
According to the preliminary data for the third quarter of 2018 the total turnover index in section ‘Transportation, storage and post’, calculated on the basis of seasonally adjusted data increased by 1.0% compared to the second quarter of 2018. In section ‘Information and communication’ the turnover index grew by 4.2%.
Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditure of the Population in Third Quarter of 2018 (preliminary data)
In the third quarter of 2018, 1 882.7 thousand Bulgarian residents made tourist trips. The majority (79.8%) of them travelled only within the country, 14.8% - only abroad and 5.4% - both in the country and abroad. Compared to the same quarter of 2017 the total number of the travelled persons aged 15 and over decreased by 5.5%, as a reduction was observed in the number of the Bulgarian residents travelled only in the country or only abroad respectively by 8.3% and 3.1% of them, while the number of the Bulgarian residents travelled both in the country and abroad increased by 56.8%.
Household Income, Expenditure and Consumption during the Third Quarter of 2018
The total income average per household member during the third quarter of 2018 is 1 541 BGN and increases by 7.7% compared to the same quarter of 2017.
The total expenditure average per household member during the third quarter of 2018 is 1 518 BGN and increases by 9.8% in comparison with the same quarter of 2017.
The consumption of main food products average per household member is without considerable change during the third quarter of 2018 compared to the same quarter of 2017.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2018 increased by 0.3% in the EU-28 compared to the previous quarter by seasonally adjusted data. For the same period, GDP in Bulgaria increased by 0.5%.
