The Industrial Production Index decreased by 0.7% in February 2025 compared to the previous month. The data are preliminary and seasonally adjusted.
In February 2025, compared to January 2025, a decrease was seen in the mining and quarrying industry - by 6.3%, and in the manufacturing - by 2.7%, while an increase was registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - by 3.5%.
In comparison with February 2024, a decrease of 4.6% was reported in the calendar-adjusted Industrial Production Index.
On an annual basis, a drop of the Industrial Production Index was observed in the manufacturing - by 7.1%, in the mining and quarrying industry - by 1.8%, while an increase was registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - by 11.2%.
