Data description | The survey provides data on occurred crisis events by types on the country territory, determined damages (loss of tangible assets), supplemental funds for recovery grouped by their sources as well as expenditures on rescue and emergency work (REW). The data for loss of tangible assets (in thousands of BGN) in the report refer to losses due to occurrence of crisis events on the territories of the municipalities, which are recorded in the relevant manner by the members of the committees appointed by order of the mayor. |

Sector coverage | Exhaustive survey among the municipal administrations with a deadline for data submission by March 31 of each year. The scope of the survey does not include damages from emerging crisis events in sites owned by ministries and agencies, commercial companies and sole traders. The survey includes the following crisis events – fires, landslides, earthquakes, droughts, floods , storms, tornado, windspout, whirlwind, hailstorms, snowstorms, icings, frosts, accidents, accidents with vehicles, pollutions (with chemical materials, dangerous waste, municipal waste and other), epidemic human and animal diseases, calamity, other crisis, natural disasters and events. Groups of sources of the supplemental funds for recovery – from insurance compensations, from governmental commission, from EU and from other sources. |
