Structure of Earnings 2014

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) of Bulgaria presents to the users of statistical information the publication “Structure of Earnings 2014”. It contains data from the representative Structure of Earnings Survey for 2014 (SES 2014) carried out by the NSI. The SES 2014 is the fourth of a series of four-yearly surveys to be conducted under the Council Regulation (EC) No. 530/1999, the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1916/2000 (amended) and the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1738/2005.

Population and Demographic Processes 2015

The NSI annual electronic publication Population and Demographic Processes 2015 is available for users of statistical information.

The issue is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains detailed statistical information about the demographic state in the Republic of Bulgaria during the year of 2015. Data for the number and the structure of the population and for its natural movement and internal migration are published in the issue.

Crimes and Persons Convicted 2015

The NSI annual electronic bilingual publication of the NSI Crimes and Persons Convicted 2015, containing data on crimes with penalty inflicted, accused persons and persons convicted is available for users of statistical information.

The issue includes data about the activity of district, regional and military courts as well as Specialized Criminal Court in penal cases of a general, private and administrative nature. Comparable data on crimes with penalty inflicted, as well as persons convicted with sentences in force for 1989 - 2015 period are also presented.

Book publishing and Press 2015

The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to present of users on statistical information its new electronic publication Book publishing and Press 2015.

The publication contains statistical information on the development of publishing activity in Bulgaria by main indicators for 2015.

Data by some indicators, such as: titles; circulation; average circulation of books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and bulletins for the period 1961 - 2015, are also included.  In the publication are applied methodology notes and brief analysis.

Education in the Republic of Bulgaria 2016

The National Statistical Institute presents to the attention of users interested in social statistics the newest annual bilingual (Bulgarian and English) electronic publication Education in the Republic of Bulgaria 2016.

The publication contains main data from the five carried out annual comprehensive statistical surveys, which characterizing the activity of educational institutions in Bulgaria for the period from 2011/2012 to 2015/2016 school (academic) years.

Employment and Unemployment - annual data 2015

The National Statistical Institute presents the annual electronic edition Employment and Unemployment - annual data 2015 to the users.

The bilingual (Bulgarian-English) publication presents annual average data from the Labour force survey. The Labour force survey is a sample statistical survey on households for examination of the economic activity of the population aged 15 years and over.

The methodology of the survey has been developed according to ILO and Eurostat recommendations.

The issue describes in a popular way methodology of the Labour Force Survey - sample selection and method of data collection, the main definitions used in the survey, calculation of indicators and data dissemination.
