Arrivals of visitors, nights spent, revenues from nights spent, bed-places and available bed-nights, number of accommodation establishments.

Individual data are not published in accordance with article 25 of the Law on Statistics. The publishing of individual data can be performed only in accordance with article 26 of the same law on Statistics and Rules for provision of anonymized individual data for scientific and research purposes (https://www.nsi.bg/en/node/575).

The date for publishing of statistical information is indicated in the Release Calendar presenting the results of the statistical surveys carried out by the National Statistical Institute. The statistical information on the activity of the accommodation establishments is published monthly: a month after the reference period on the website of the NSI.

The data are published on the NSI website, section Tourism in accordance with the Law on Statistics and the European Statistics Code of Practice respecting the professional independence and aimed at objectivity, transparency and equal treatment of all consumers.

Methodology of the survey

Assurance of quality of the Survey on Accommodation Establishments in accordance with Quality management policy and Quality management programme of NSI.

The results from the Survey accommodation establishment in the form of statistical estimates and distributions pass annually through an assessment of their quality. The estimate shall be formally published in the form of a quality report in Eurostat standardized form.

The users are the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Tourism, the districts and municipalities authorities, tourist organizations, science organizations, international organizations and others.

The users satisfaction survey is not carried out.

All data according to Regulation 692/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning European statistics on tourism are provided.
